Because no single database lists all the available clinical trials, eCancerTrials.com has Cancer Information Specialists (CIS) that are available to perform custom clinical trials searches for interested patients and their families.

Cancer Information Specialists are oncology nurses or physicians that are experts in understanding the range of clinical trials that are available. For a fee, our CIS will perform custom searches for clinical trials on an individualized basis. We will screen all clinical trials listing services, and key cancer centers around the U.S. in order to provide you with a comprehensive list of clinical trials appropriate for your situation.  The CIS may also call leading cancer centers known to have specific research interests in order to determine if any research is ongoing that could be beneficial.

In order to have a custom search performed; individuals must complete a simple profile that describes their cancer and other health related factors. Once the profile has been completed the search will be performed and you will receive a report tailored to your situation that includes the following within 72 hours.

• A list of appropriate clinical trials, and contact information of the doctors or center conducting the trial.
• A list of Cancer Centers with a specific research program or interest and their contact information.
• Daily e mail news alerts on breaking cancer news and clinical trials results.
• E mail notification of new clinical trials.

The cost of a CIS performing a custom clinical trials search is between $120 and $500 depending on the request.
